The Garden Club of Brewster and Brewster Conservation Trust Scholarship
The Garden Club of Brewster and the Brewster Conservation Trust are accepting applications for their joint 2024 Scholarship of $2000. The scholarship is awarded to a Brewster resident studying or planning to continue post high school education in landscape design, horticulture, conservation, forestry, environmental science, wildlife management, marine or related sciences.

TO APPLY
A completed scholarship application must be submitted to Scholarship Chairperson, Garden Club of Brewster, PO Box 1414, Brewster, MA 02631 by April 5, 2024. Applications can be down loaded HERE or be obtained at the guidance counselor offices at Nauset Regional High School and Cape Cod Regional Technical High School.

AWARD

In collaboration with the Garden Club of Brewster, BCT awards a scholarship each year to a Brewster resident for the purpose of higher education in the fields of landscape design, horticulture, conservation, environmental science, marine or related sciences. The 2022 recipient, Gavin Ellis is a Graduate of Nauset Regional High School and is enrolled at the University of Rhode Island Environmental Engineering program.

Out of concern for potential negative impacts on our community’s water resources, Brewster Conservation Trust and the Brewster Ponds Coalition recently approved a joint resolution calling for a review and further study of the proposed housing development of the Long Pond property.
