From the Archives

The Brewster Conservation Trust has been an integral part of the Brewster community since its founding in 1983.   Over the years, the Trust's portfolio of protected land has grown, but its mission has remained the same: to preserve open space, natural resources, and the rural character of Brewster and to promote a conservation ethic.  Howard Hayes, founding Trustee, explained the later part of the mission best saying "...we hope to serve as an educational force to help all of us enjoy and protect the natural resources and environment of Brewster."  Today, the Trust continues the efforts of those who forged the trail ahead of us. We hope enjoy this look back From the Archives about how BCT got to where it is today.
