Online Auction in March benefits BCT

Getaway to The Gallery at Marana, Arizona

BCT is pleased to announce that we received more than $3000 in funding for our land conservation projects as the result of a generous package of holiday getaways donated by Robert J. Newman. See the list of all the getaways.

Here is how it was handled:

All you have to do is to go to the auction website, www.biddingforgood.com/BCT, to bid on as many packages as you want. Bid, and rebid as often as you want. The starting bid for each item is $100.

The auction runs from 12 AM on Friday March 14 to 11 PM on Sunday March 23.

The online bidding registration will ask for your credit card information to secure your bid, but nothing will be charged to your card unless you are the highest bidder on an item when the auction closes on March 23.

If you are the successful bidder, you can use the package anytime until the expiration date in 2014 indicated on the list. BCT will mail you the package certificate immediately after the auction closes.

Visit the website www.biddingforgood.com/BCT and please bid. And thanks for helping preserve Brewster woodlands, ponds, marshes and meadows.

Summer after summer, the couple’s son, five daughters, and 18 grandchildren would visit. Over the years, the land was subdivided and each Doble child received a house lot of approximately ten acres. The daughters each […]

BCT’s 40th Year Annual Report

Over BCT’s 40-year history, the evolution of our mission has been profound. What began as an effort to protect any available land from the reach of breakneck development has become a strategic approach to acquiring land with high conservation value and a steady commitment to natural resource stewardship and community outreach. Spring 2024 Newsletter

Sometimes the right place and the right time come together. In a community where housing is in short supply, this is indeed good news. Brewster’s zoning in the 1980’s established large building lots that slowed the unmanageable growth of the time but are now impeding the development of sorely needed workforce housing. Today’s Brewster needs […]
