CCLHCS at Eddy Bay

Pollinators and Students alike joined together at the BCT’s Eddy Bay property for a community “work day”. Thanks to Jeff Thibodeau, BCT Land specialist and Meg Morris, Cape Cod Lighthouse Charter School (CCLCS), Parent Volunteer the two groups coordinated a clean up at Eddy Bay’s flourishing  garden area.   Led by Chip Parisi, BCT Work Day Coordinator, the CCLCS 8th grade students were able to complete some of there Service Day hours, while they helped haul, rake, prune, clear and clean whatever was in their path.  “We look forward to having the students each year and hope to help foster the effort toward building future conservationists,” said Jeff Thibodeau.

The daughters each […]

Spring 2024 Newsletter

Sometimes the right place and the right time come together. In a community where housing is in short supply, this is indeed good news. Brewster’s zoning in the 1980’s established large building lots that slowed the unmanageable growth of the time but are now impeding the development of sorely needed workforce housing. Today’s Brewster needs […]
