February 2020  – Jonathan Bruce is the newest addition to the Brewster Conservation Trust team. Joining Amy Henderson, Executive Director, and Dorria Marsh, Outreach Coordinator, Jon will be working as BCT’s Land Stewardship Coordinator.  Along with the help of the Trust’s dedicated volunteers, Jon will oversee land stewardship projects on over 200 properties and 1,300 acres throughout Brewster.

After receiving his Bachelor of Science Environmental Science from Norwich University Senior Military College of Vermont, Northfield, VT, Jon served with the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps program working on conservation and community development projects in Missouri, Kansas, and Arizona.  Prior to joining the Trust, Jon was an Environmental Technician with Wilkinson Ecological Design.

As the Land Stewardship Coordinator, Jon looks forward to enhancing BCT’s capacity to preserve and restore Brewster’s natural resources in order to make a positive and lasting impact on the Cape Cod environment.  Amy Henderson, BCT Executive Director says, “Jon brings great experience and energy with him, which will be valuable to BCT’s growing Land Stewardship program.”
