Founded in 1983, the Brewster Conservation Trust's (BCT) mission is to preserve open space, natural resources, and the rural character of Brewster and to promote a conservation ethic. The Trust acquires land by gift or purchase, helps landowners restrict development of their property, and partners with the Town of Brewster and other organizations to encourage sound conservation practices.

Land Stewardship Summer Intern
Working under the supervision of BCT’s Land Stewardship Director, the person in this position will assist in stewarding BCT properties alongside BCT staff and volunteers. Responsibilities will include helping to maintain trails, native gardens, and meadows; assisting with invasive species removal; maintaining equipment and supplies; and participating in staff meetings.
This is a stipended, 3-day/week position from May-August 2025.
Stewardship & Outreach Summer Intern
Under the supervision of the BCT’s Communications and Development Coordinator, the intern will assist with planning, organizing and implementing outreach programs and BCT events. Under the supervision of the Land Stewardship Director, the intern will assist with both field-based and administrative activities designed to move BCT’s mission forward.
This is a stipended, 3-day/week position from May-August 2025.
