STORYWALK® & SUNCATCHERS!Windmill Meadows - Drummer Boy Park Saturday, June 18 at 10 am
|
Walk through Windmill Meadows and discover birds, bees, and butterflies as we read a story about the longest day of the year. We will learn why this day in June is so long and what people around the world do to celebrate the beginning of summer. Once we reach the middle of the meadow, we will enjoy the shade of a giant cherry tree, have a snack, and sip on cold lemonade and peach tea. Children are invited to stay and make a butterfly suncatcher, explore on the meadow trail, or head over to the playground to enjoy the day.
This walk is fun for all ages, especially kids ages 4 to 10.
