Brewster Conservation Day

Brewster Conservation Day (BCD) is Cape Cod’s best-loved conservation fair! Sponsored by Brewster Conservation Trust, the Town of Brewster and the Brewster Ponds Coalition, it is a free, fun, family event celebrating the protection of our community’s natural resources and coastal habitat. It takes place annually on the second Saturday in July, rain or shine, at the Sea Camps Bay Property from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.

Conservation Begins at Home – tips and tools for the many ways we can all improve our conservation practices.

Over 40 exhibitors will be on hand with engaging interactive displays that will include practical ways to waste less and conserve more.

Highlights of this year’s celebration will include:

  • Presentations by APCC’s Erin Camire and Cape Light Compact’s Stephen McCloskey.
  • A “Creativity Zone” with fun, hands-on, kid-friendly activities blending art, conservation, and community.
  • Live musical performances by Paul Kehoe and by Drumma Queens.
  • Music and emcee services by WOMR’s Braintree Jim.
  • Food options will include a Brewster oyster bar, the BCD Hot Dog Stand, and Kono Pizza food truck.
